NEC’s presentation at the Xen Project Developer and Design Summit

The UNICORE Project will be present at the Xen Project Developer and Design Summit on July 6th. It is a virtual event that will last for 3 days, from July 6th to July 9th.

The Xen Project Developer and Design Summit brings together the Xen Project’s community of developers and power users for their annual developer conference. The conference is about sharing ideas and the latest developments, sharing experience, planning, collaboration and above all to have fun and to meet the community that defines the Xen Project.

Representatives of NEC Labs Europe, Sharan Santhanam and Felipe Huici, will present the Keynote Session “Unikraft Weather Report”, online at 14:45 CEST. In their talk, they will explain how Unikraft Xen Incubation Project has matured enormously over the past year. They will give a “weather report”, touching on a number of the key new features of Unikraft, including support for a number of languages (C++, Go, Python, Web Assembly, Lua, JavaScript, Ruby), support for ARM64, netfront and frontblock drivers as well as a companion tool greatly simplifying the building and running of its images. Finally, they will present a number of performance measurements showcasing the benefits of using Unikraft guests, and they will touch upon a number of security features they’re adding in order to hardened Unikraft.

If you’re attending this online event, make sure to collaborate with the Xen community. Attend presentations with live Q&A, attend their Design Sessions, and much more!
